Job summary

SR Technics Group is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our Zurich-area shop floor. You will perform inspections on engine assemblies across lines (GTF, LEAP, PW4000, CFM56) and ensure compliance with OEM specifications, while creating repair orders and verifying modifications.

Ideal candidates have vocational mechanical training, aviation/MRO experience, and strong English; German is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office and SAP is advantageous; willingness to work in a 2-shift system is required.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in a mechanical/technical field.
• Relevant working experience in Aviation or MRO is advantageous.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.
• Self-motivated with precise, accountable work ethic.
• Able to work in a 2-shift system.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical inspection and assessment of aircraft engine assemblies per OEM specs and orders.
• Create repair orders for engines, modules, and piece parts.
• Check modifications carried out on parts and assemblies.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Lean Events, 5S, Root Cause Analysis).
• Work independently and think and act economically.
