Zusammenfassung

LGT Private Banking is seeking Backend / Full Stack Developers to design, develop and maintain Avaloq-based applications in Portfolio Management. You will shape the Avaloq system landscape and work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure stable, scalable processes.

You will analyse requirements with Business Specialists and Analysts, implement new functionalities, coordinate releases, and contribute to documentation and standards while aligning with security and performance goals.

Qualifikationen

• Higher education in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Banking & Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
• Solid experience with Avaloq, ideally within Portfolio Management, and understanding of relevant Avaloq components and interfaces.
• Experience in application management, business analysis or software development, preferably in a banking or financial-services environment.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle SQL, with a strong understanding of data, processes and end-to-end system dependencies.
• Analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach with a collaborative mindset across business functions.
• Excellent written and spoken English; German language skills are an advantage.
• Experience in release and test management, Agile ways of working and regulatory requirements in private banking.

Backend / Full Stack Developers are responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining reliable and efficient applications. They contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with technical and business requirements. By utilising modern technologies and established methodologies, they ensure effective integration between frontend and backend systems while focusing on performance, security, and scalability.

Requirements

• Higher education in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Banking & Finance, or an equivalent qualification.
• Solid experience with Avaloq, ideally within Portfolio Management, and a sound understanding of relevant Avaloq components and interfaces.
• Experience in application management, business analysis or software development, preferably in a banking or financial-services environment.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle SQL, combined with a strong understanding of data, processes and end-to-end system dependencies.
• An analytical, structured and solution-oriented approach, with a collaborative mindset when working across business functions.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills; German language skills are an advantage.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in release and test management, including collaboration with external IT partners.
• Familiarity with agile ways of working and regulatory requirements in a private-banking environment.
