Job summary

Harmattan AI in Switzerland is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to join the Machine Learning and Computer Vision team, responsible for developing core CV components across robotics and aerospace projects. You will research data, develop and optimize algorithms, deploy models into production, and monitor performance, collaborating with software and simulation teams to meet demanding system requirements.

The role requires a Master’s degree (PhD a plus), strong math, and proficiency in Python;

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field; PhD is a plus.
• Strong mathematical foundations and hands-on ML/CV project experience.
• Experience with Python and/or C++ in production ML/CV workflows.

Responsibilities

• Research and data preparation for CV models.
• Algorithm development and optimization for robotics applications.
• Deployment and integration of ML/CV models into production environments; conduct code reviews.
• Validation and monitoring of model performance in real-world settings.
• Cross-team collaboration with software and simulation teams; communicate findings to stakeholders.
