Job summary

Try&Hire is seeking a plastics engineer to lead projects for automotive plastics solutions and provide technical consulting on materials and injection moulding. You will perform trials at our technical centre and at customer sites, develop feasibility analyses and cost calculations, and work with R&D, production, analytics, marketing and sales teams.

The role requires a degree in plastics/materials/mechanical engineering, hands-on experience in injection moulding, and strong English

Qualifications

Degree in plastics engineering, materials engineering or mechanical engineering.
Experience in injection moulding technology and design of technical plastic components.
Interest in current and future vehicle technologies.
Decisive and entrepreneurial personality with strong goal orientation.
Willingness to engage, learn, take initiative and remain flexible.
Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

Lead projects developing innovative solutions with automotive customers.
Provide technical consulting on material selection, component and material analysis, and injection moulding processing.
Conduct trials and sampling on modern equipment in the injection moulding centre and at customer sites.
Develop technical foundations, feasibility analyses and cost calculations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in R&D, production, analytics, marketing and sales.
Monitor market for new trends, technologies and opportunities.
Deliver technical presentations and conduct internal training sessions.
