SHL Medical AG in Zug seeks an experienced Operations Automation Engineer to drive and support manufacturing automation for complex mechatronic systems at our state-of-the-art facility. You will work with production, IT, and quality teams to ensure reliable, compliant operations across core processes.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of equipment or automation engineering experience in medical device or industrial setting.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• CAD proficiency for complex mechatronic systems design/optimization.
• Knowledge of control architectures and associated languages.
• Experience with industrial software systems (SCADA, MES).
• Familiarity with IoT and Industry 4.0 technologies.

Aufgaben

• Serve as primary SME for site-wide industrial automation and equipment projects.
• Improve digital system reliability to meet customer, business and regulatory requirements.
• Lead and support troubleshooting and issue resolution of critical production systems to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with local/global IT and digital systems teams for a global approach.
• Manage technology transfer of new automated systems into mass production.
• Participate on project teams to start up new facilities, equipment, or processes.
• Identify and evaluate new manufacturing systems and software for next-gen production.
• Promote use of new technologies and maintain high technical expertise.
• Collaborate with production, machine builders, process development and quality teams on improvements.
