Zusammenfassung

VAT Group seeks an experienced engineer to drive automation and control for R&D test rigs and lab systems. You will define concepts, implement automation, and develop data acquisition and DoE experiments for gas sensing and control tech in vacuum applications.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and occasionally support on-site at customers to demonstrate advanced control algorithms for high-performance gas control systems.

Qualifikationen

Engineering degree (MSc or PhD) in mechanical or electrical engineering, control engineering, mechatronics, or similar.
Strong knowledge of control theory and industrial automation.
3+ years in designing and implementing automated testing setups.
Experience with PLC programming (Beckhoff, Siemens or similar).
Experience with industrial communication protocols.
Programming skills in Matlab/Simulink or Python.
Vacuum technology or semiconductor experience is beneficial.

Aufgaben

Define and implement automation systems for R&D test rigs and lab setups.
Develop data acquisition and automation for gas sensing tests.
Develop advanced control algorithms for gas control systems.
Plan, run and document DoE experiments with structured reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional VAT R&D teams and partners.
Occasional on-site support at customer sites.
