Job summary

PwC South Africa seeks a Manager level professional to lead and deliver complex financial statement audits for international clients in the energy, commodity trading and industrial sectors from Lausanne, Switzerland. You will oversee planning, execution and reporting with a focus on IFRS, controls, and high-quality audit outcomes.

You will coordinate with multinational teams, manage stakeholders, and develop staff through coaching and feedback, ensuring timely delivery within demanding timelines.

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting/finance or related field.
• Several years of external audit experience, including leading complex engagements.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and auditing standards.
• Experience with international/cross-border teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution and completion of complex audits and group reporting engagements for international clients in energy, commodity trading and industrial sectors.
• Coordinate with PwC teams and subject-matter specialists across countries to deliver high-quality audit outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and communicate audit findings clearly.
• Coach and develop diverse engagement teams and contribute to audit quality and efficiency initiatives.
