Zusammenfassung

The School of Health Sciences Fribourg (Heds FR) invites applications for a leadership role in osteopathy research. The successful candidate will secure funding, publish results, and actively participate in national and international conferences.

They will develop scientific, clinical and interprofessional networks and teach in their area of research, contributing to the advancement of osteopathic science and education.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in osteopathy or related health discipline.
• Extensive experience in your area of expertise.
• Practising osteopath with clinical experience.
• Proven ability to secure competitive funding and project management.
• Proven publications in peer-reviewed journals and professional outlets.
• Fluency in French or German with good knowledge of the other language and English.

The School of Health Sciences Fribourg (Heds FR) offers bilingual teaching in the fields of nursing (Bachelor's level) and osteopathy (Bachelor's and Master's levels) and carries out research and continuing professional development activities; it also provides a wide range of services to its numerous partners.

Role and scope of work

• To secure funding and provide leadership for large-scale research projects in the field of osteopathy
• To publish the results of funded projects regularly in peer-reviewed scientific journals as well as in professional journals
• To participate actively in national and international conferences by presenting and promoting research findings
• Develop and consolidate scientific, clinical and interprofessional collaboration networks in the field of osteopathy
• Teach in your area of expertise in relation to research

Your profile

• Holder of a PhD in osteopathy or a related health discipline
• Extensive experience in your area of expertise
• A practising osteopath with proven clinical and practical experience
• Proven ability in applied research, particularly in project management and securing competitive funding
• Demonstrated ability to publish in peer-reviewed scientific journals and professional publications
• Fluency in French or German with a good knowledge of the other language, as well as English
