ASSOCIATE DATA SCIENTIST (Temporary Job Opening) at UN. Grade: P-2. Location: Geneva, Switzerland. Application deadline: 28 September 2026. Within delegated authority, the Associate Data Scientist may be responsible for the following duties: (These duties are generic and may not be carried out by all Associate Data Scientists.)

• Assists in the exploration, identification, and acquisition of diverse and complex data sources to determine their suitability for analytical use.
• Applies quality methods to structure, clean, format, parse, and standardize data for analysis.
• Contributes to the application of data science methods to support programmatic areas, including work related to missing persons in Syria, contributing to efforts to clarify their fate, whereabouts and circumstances of disappearance.
