Asset Manager
Responsibilities
- The Manager of Asset Management will provide strategic leadership and direction to develop and implement effective asset management strategy across the TIL terminal portfolio. The primary objective is to ensure a high level of asset availability, performance consistency, and lifecycle optimization to support the company’s operational and financial goals.
- Demonstrate thorough understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) practices within terminal asset management context.
- Implement and actively monitor compliance with corporate asset management policies and requirements across the terminal portfolio.
- Assess and implement best practices and new technology within the industry to ensure continuous improvement of the terminal performance and asset lifecycle management.
- Conduct and coordinate the terminal's asset management audits and set terminal improvement action plans.
- Ensure the implementation of an effective quality control system relevant to the execution of the asset management activities.
- Ensure that company asset management policies are implemented and adhered to throughout the terminal portfolio.
- Demonstrate broad experience and solid understanding of reporting dimensions in a terminal asset management environment.
- Monitor, analyse, and perform quality control of terminal data and prepare the management reporting dashboard.
- Establish the proactive dialogue with the terminal and flag areas of concern.
- Audit the asset lifecycle records, including acquisition, disposal, and maintenance history.
- Provide guidance and support to other internal departments relevant to asset management activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- A college degree in marine, electrical, mechanical, engineering, or related field. Degree in management, business or related is considered an asset.
- 5-7 years’ experience in relevant position, demonstrating extensive knowledge of asset management principles in a terminal or equivalent industry.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and mindset.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills, as well as excellent leadership and managerial skills, including planning, organizing, and directing work.
- Broad experience and solid understanding of reporting dimensions in a corporate environment.
- Requires more than a fair knowledge of MS Office suite applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English is a must.
