Big Science Sweden is seeking an Applied Physicist to contribute to the High-Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC) project focused on increasing the integrated luminosity of the Large Hadron Collider. The role involves assessing limitations and finding solutions for collective effects from beam-induced impedance. Candidates must have a master’s degree with relevant experience or a PhD. Note that only nationals of CERN Member States can apply, with specific exclusions for Pakistani and Lithuanian nationals.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree with 2 to 6 years of professional experience or PhD with a maximum of 3 years of experience.
• Not eligible with only a bachelor’s degree.
• Never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.
