Nicoll Curtin is recruiting for a Business Manager Applications role in Zürich, Switzerland. You will manage and develop business-critical applications and interfaces supporting card transaction processing, acting as the central link between internal stakeholders, IT teams, Product Owners, development teams, and external suppliers.

The role requires a degree in a related field, experience in application management, payments/card processing, and a strong ability to translate stakeholder needs

Qualifikationen

• Degree from university in Business Informatics, CS, or business admin.
• Experience in Application Management or IT/Service Management.
• Experience with Payments or card processing is desirable.
• Experience with agile development teams is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Aufgaben

• Act as the central interface between business stakeholders, IT teams, external partners, and suppliers
• Take responsibility for key processing applications and interfaces supporting credit and debit card transaction processing
• Manage applications across areas such as Clearing & Settlement, Batch Processing, Backend Systems, and Gateways
• Work closely with Product Owners, development teams, and business stakeholders to drive the further development of processing solutions
• Analyse stakeholder needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements
• Support the full implementation lifecycle, from requirements definition and implementation through testing, acceptance, and production rollout
• Ensure the stable and secure operation of the applications under your responsibility
• Coordinate incident analysis, troubleshooting, and sustainable problem resolution
• Manage relevant suppliers and service providers
• Identify optimisation opportunities and contribute to the continuous improvement of applications, processes, and services

Are you experienced in Application Management and enjoy working at the interface between Business, IT, and external service providers?

We are currently supporting a leading financial services organisation with a requirement for a Business Manager Applications (permanent position).

This role focuses on managing and developing business-critical applications and interfaces supporting card transaction processing. You will act as a central link between internal stakeholders, IT teams, Product Owners, development teams, and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Degree from a University or University of Applied Sciences in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in Application Management, Business Application Management, or a similar IT / Service Management environment
• Experience within Payments, Card Processing, or Payment Transactions is highly desirable
• Experience working with agile development teams is an advantage
• Strong technical and conceptual understanding of applications, systems, and interfaces
• Experience in Requirements Engineering and/or Business Analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High level of ownership, reliability, quality awareness, and initiative
