Job summary

Swissquote is seeking an Android Developer to join our Banking Services team to contribute to the development and evolution of modern Android applications related to Payments, Cards or Cryptocurrencies, among others. You will build clean, scalable, and maintainable mobile solutions using Kotlin, Coroutines, Flows, and Jetpack Compose, following Clean Architecture principles and industry best practices.

Beyond strong development skills, we are looking for someone who takes ownership of features

Qualifications

• Proven Android app development experience, preferably Kotlin-based.
• Strong Kotlin skills with Coroutines and Flows.
• Proficient with Jetpack Compose and Android UI kits.
• Solid understanding of Clean Architecture and patterns.
• Experience with DI frameworks like Koin and modular projects.
• Strong Gradle experience and build tooling.
• Experience with automated testing (unit and e2e).
• Able to read/modify complex legacy Android code safely.
• Commitment to code quality and maintainability.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android apps following Clean Architecture.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements to production support.
• Contribute to architecture evolution for scalable mobile systems.
• Build and maintain UI with Jetpack Compose for performant UX.
• Implement asynchronous logic using Kotlin Coroutines and Flows.
• Write clean, well-tested code following engineering standards.
• Review peers' code and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with engineers, product, and design stakeholders.
• Support production releases and app stability.
• Improve testing coverage and technical docs within the team.]
• Mentor junior engineers and raise the team's technical level.
