Job summary

FMC seeks a Principal Investigator in Analytical Sciences to lead analytical studies across the product lifecycle, from early research to commercial launch. You will develop and validate methods for actives and impurities, and drive regulatory support with a global, multidisciplinary team.

The role requires a PhD in Chemistry (Analytical) with expertise in HPLC/UHPLC, GC, and MS techniques, plus strong communication and collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry with analytical focus required.
• Hands-on method development in GLP-regulated or industrial settings.
• Experience supporting R&D programs from discovery to commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead analytical studies aligned with global regulatory requirements.
• Develop and validate analytical methods for active ingredients, intermediates, impurities, and formulations.
• Provide analytical leadership and serve as primary contact for products and platforms.
• Support process development, formulation, manufacturing, and registration activities.
• Apply chromatography and MS techniques to solve complex analytical challenges.
• Collaborate with chemists, process engineers, and cross-functional teams.
