Job summary

Epic Fusion Corp seeks an AI-Ready Solutions Architect for Workplace & Security to design secure, AI-ready cloud and on-premises environments in Bern/Zurich with hybrid work options. The role focuses on enabling Copilot and AI agents while protecting sensitive data and identities.

You will implement target architectures, streamline identities, and set governance using Defender, Purview, and Azure services, collaborating with CIOs and technical teams across regions.

Qualifications

• Degree from FH/HF or equivalent recognized by Switzerland.
• Several years of cloud or security experience in Microsoft environments.
• Ability to explain security and governance decisions to CIOs.
• Experience with Copilot, Agents, or Purview a plus.
• Proficient German and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design target architectures for modern workplaces using Intune, Entra ID, Defender, Windows 365, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Streamline identities, permissions, and data classification for Copilot/agents exposure control.
• Develop security and governance strategies using Defender, Purview, and Agent 365.
• Automate repetitive tasks via Graph API, PowerShell, or Infrastructure as Code.
• Analyze customer environments, set priorities, and communicate plans to technical and management teams.

Anyone rolling out Copilot on a chaotic tenant gives their employees a fast track to data they should never see. Suddenly, someone stumbles upon executive payroll or a draft reorganization plan. As an AI-Ready Solutions Architect– Workplace & Security, you make sure that does not happen: You prepare Swiss companies’ workplace and cloud environments for AI– cleanly and securely set up, hands-on, and with your own personal touch. Here at Epic Fusion, we are an AI-native team: straightforward, with short decision-making paths, and plenty of creative freedom. We try out new things– in the spirit of «Learn it all over Know it all»– and integrate them directly into our processes. Not everything works right away, but we learn quickly and build on what proves successful. We do not have a ready-made process manual for every situation. If that is what you need, we are not the right fit. If you would rather write it yourself, we are.

• Laying the Foundation: you design target architectures for modern workplaces using Intune, Entra ID, Defender, Windows 365, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Making it AI-ready: You will streamline identities, permissions, and data classification so that Copilot and agents only see what they are authorized to see.
• Securing: You will develop security and governance strategies using Defender, Purview, and Agent 365.
• Automate: You automate tasks thatare currently done manually twice using Graph API, PowerShell, or Infrastructure as Code.
• Provide direction: You analyze customer environments, set clear priorities, and explain them so that both technical and management teams know what is coming next. You test new Microsoft and AI features before they are rolled out to customers.

You are a good fit for us if...

• you can configure Intune, Entra ID, and M365, and you can also explain why things have to be done a certain way. You are familiar with Azure and Defender.
• you have several years of experience working in the Microsoft cloud or security environment and understand what tenants look like in practice.
• you have completed a degree at a university of applied sciences (FH) or a higher vocational school (HF), or have achieved a comparable level of education through other means.
• you can explain to a CIO in five minutes why his Copilot rollout needs to wait– and he will thank you afterward.
• you have already tried out Copilot, Agents, or Purview because you were interested in them– not because someone asked you to.
• you communicate confidently in German and English.
