Qualifikationen

• PhD (or equivalent experience) in Computational Biology, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience integrating diverse biological data types and extracting meaningful biological insight from complex datasets.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with data science and ML frameworks.
• Proven experience in developing AI/ML and computational biology approaches with reproducible workflows.

Aufgaben

• Define priority predictive safety questions with toxicologists, biologists, chemists, and data scientists.
• Lead development and evaluation of advanced AI/ML methodologies for safety questions.
• Apply ML, AI, statistical modelling, and knowledge-driven approaches to extract biological signals from large datasets.
• Translate modelling outputs into actionable scientific insights for project decisions.
• Evaluate emerging AI and computational biology methods for practical value and applications.
• Communicate complex computational findings clearly to multidisciplinary audiences.
