Zusammenfassung

Kandou AI is seeking an AI Engineering Intern to work in our applied AI engineering team in Vaud, Switzerland. The role focuses on building AI tools for design automation across Analog, Digital, and Verification teams, bridging state-of-the-art AI with hardware workflows.

The internship targets MSc students for up to 6 months, with compensation available and a startup-like environment that values innovation, hands-on experimentation, and impactful, high-quality code.

Qualifikationen

• Strong background in AI and LLM.
• Proficiency in software programming and delivering high-quality code.
• Experience with LLM systems including tool-calling, agents, skills, structured output generation, and MCP.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to research independently.
• Problem solving skills.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor/electronic design concepts is a plus, not required.

Aufgaben

• Architect & build agentic systems that extract knowledge, execute complex reasoning, and generate design artifacts while enforcing Kandou's design rules.
• Partner across engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and integrate into workflows.
• Integrate agentic tools into engineers' environments.
• Design evaluation pipelines and iterate based on feedback.
• Deliver modular, well-tested, maintainable code.
