bexio ag in Rapperswil SG is seeking an AI Engineer to join our AI Feature Team and drive the design, development and deployment of scalable AI-enabled features for our SaaS products. The role emphasizes working with GCP, Vertex AI, LangChain and LlamaIndex, plus RAG and LLM deployment in a hybrid 80-100% setting.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement API-driven AI capabilities, and stay at the forefront of AI technologies while contributing to a high-growth Swiss SaaS

Qualifications

University degree (or equivalent) in computer science or a related field with a practical track record as an AI Engineer, ML Engineer, or Fullstack Software Engineer building scalable and secure AI-augmented features (preferred in a SaaS product).
Hands-on experience with cloud environments (GCP), AI platforms (Vertex AI), and modern AI orchestration frameworks (e.g., Google ADK, LangChain, LlamaIndex).
Proven experience with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), prompt engineering, and deploying LLMs for real-world business applications.
Advanced programming skills, experience with AI/ML libraries and frameworks, solid backend knowledge (async, REST, testing, security), and experience with databases such as MongoDB or Redis.
Familiarity with SaaS architectures and integrating AI services via APIs into existing web applications (willingness to navigate our Angular/PHP stack is a plus), as well as container and CI/CD fundamentals (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ArgoCD).
You are a structured, independent, and quality-focused team player with strong analytical problem-solving skills, eager to stay up to date with the latest AI technologies.
As a clear communicator, you feel comfortable engaging directly with stakeholders across teams; fluent English is a must, a big plus.
