You will collaborate with chemists, biologists, perfumers, and data scientists to blend computational chemistry with data science.

The role requires deep Python expertise, strong knowledge of ML libraries, and experience with cloud platforms.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Cheminformatics, Computational Chemistry, Computer Science, AI, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of academic or industry experience in cheminformatics and computational chemistry, ideally within fragrance, taste, pharmaceutical, or agricultural discovery.
• Strong proficiency in Python and core data science and machine learning libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with cheminformatics tools (e.g., RDKit) and modern development practices (Git, CI/CD) and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

Aufgaben

• Design and implement cheminformatics algorithms and models to accelerate ingredient discovery
• Develop and optimize machine learning solutions using Python and key libraries (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Apply advanced neural network architectures to solve complex ingredient modeling challenges
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain scalable machine learning workflows on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate scientific needs into practical, user-friendly tools
• Leverage modern technologies (e.g., Git, generative AI, graph/relational data models, cloud-native systems, APIs) and stay current with emerging trends to drive innovation
