Ontinue AG is hiring a Backend Engineer to build the systems behind internal and customer-facing experiences. You will work on APIs, event-driven workflows, and scalable services with a strong AI-first mindset.

The role emphasizes collaboration with frontend teams, cloud-native patterns in Azure, and productive use of AI-assisted development tools to improve speed, reliability, and security. Swiss location preferred with Zurich-area collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with .NET and C#.
• Practical experience with Azure and cloud-based service development.
• Experience building or maintaining event-driven systems.
• Solid software engineering fundamentals, including testing and debugging.
• Comfortable in a collaborative, evolving product environment.
• Curious and open to AI-assisted development.
• Clear communicator who can work across teams.

Aufgaben

• Build and evolve backend services for internal tools and customer-facing experiences.
• Design and implement APIs, event-driven workflows, and .NET/C# services.
• Work with Azure services like Service Bus, Functions, and Storage.
• Support SOC analysts and internal teams with scalable backend systems.
• Contribute to backend parts of frontend-heavy product initiatives.
• Improve existing systems and develop new services and features.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product stakeholders, and other teams.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to boost speed and quality, shaping AI-enabled workflows.
• Contribute to CI/CD and infrastructure workflows, including Terraform.
• Play a meaningful role in cybersecurity by improving security ops.
