Job summary

Collège du Léman, a premier international school near Lake Geneva, seeks a Russian Teacher for after-school programs aged 7–18. You will plan, deliver engaging lessons, and develop age-appropriate resources in a supportive learning environment.

You will work after class hours on an hourly-paid contract, collaborating with staff to uphold the school’s standards and values while fostering language development and student confidence.

Qualifications

• University degree in Russian studies or related subject.
• Recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Russian to children aged 7–18.
• Experience in international/multilingual environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging after-school Russian lessons.
• Develop teaching resources and materials tailored to students' age and proficiency.
• Differentiate teaching to meet individual learning needs.
• Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Create a positive, inclusive and motivating classroom environment.
• Maintain attendance records and communicate concerns to staff.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align with school standards and values.
• Undertake any other duties reasonably required by the manager.
