Job summary

Destinus is seeking a dedicated Technical Project Manager to own execution across the full vehicle development stack – from propulsion and structures through avionics integration, ground support equipment, and qualification. This early hire will help build the PM structure alongside team leads and TPMs, owning execution – schedule, cross-disciplinary coordination, risk, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in aerospace, mechanical, systems, or related engineering discipline.
• Experience leading hardware-heavy development programmes with cross-functional teams.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end execution of vehicle-level and subsystem development programmes from kick-off through build, test, qualification, and delivery.
• Build and maintain programme plans spanning propulsion, structures, avionics, systems engineering, manufacturing, procurement and regulatory dependencies; identify critical path risks early.
• Run programme reviews and cross-functional coordination meetings; keep decisions documented and actions closed.
• Work closely with engineering leads to track technical progress and translate it into clear programme status.
• Coordinate system integration activities, manage interfaces, track dependencies, and own milestones.
• Manage external dependencies: supplier lead times, test facilities, regulatory submissions, and customer milestones.
• Flag scope creep, resource conflicts, and schedule risk with options for leadership; contribute to building PM structure and ways of working.
