TXT GROUP, via its TXT e-Swiss Aerospace Training and Simulation division, seeks a Flight Physics Engineer to join an international team. You will contribute to state-of-the-art 6DoF military flight simulators, supervising models and systems while implementing detailed requirements for lifecycle-driven products.

Required are a Master’s or PhD in Aerospace, 3+ years in the field, MATLAB/Simulink proficiency, and English at B2 or higher; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

Your Responsibilities

As a Flight Physics Engineer, you will contribute to the development of state-of-the-art 6DoF military flight simulators, with responsibilities including:

• Supervision of integrated systems and flight models.
• Development, integration, and validation of flight dynamics models.
• Monitoring, debugging, and ensuring smooth system operation.
• Implementation of system/subsystem requirements based on stakeholder needs, market trends, and product lifecycle strategy.

Education & Experience

• Master’s degree or PhD in Aerospace Engineering.
• Solid knowledge of flight dynamics and simulation.
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink.
• Basic knowledge of C++.
• At least 3 years of experience in a related field.
• Proficiency in English (minimum level B2).

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of build automation servers (e.g., Jenkins).
• Competence with version control systems (e.g., GIT).
• Knowledge of German is a plus.

• Willingness to travel internationally for short periods.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and tight deadlines.
