ACCA Careers seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for an 18-month assignment in Basel. You will manage end-to-end AP activities, resolve complex invoice issues, and support financial controls in a fast-paced international setting.

Key responsibilities include processing invoices, reconciling GR/IR, supporting month-end close, and driving process improvements within Procure-to-Pay. Strong SAP FI/MM experience and fluent English with German or French are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Accounts Payable or Finance Operations.
• Experience in shared services or international environments is desirable.
• Hands-on SAP experience in FI and MM modules.
• Advanced MS Excel and ERP/workflow tooling experience.

Aufgaben

• Manage validation, processing, and documentation of invoices, credit notes, and related transactions.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, debit balances, and unapplied cash.
• Monitor and reconcile GR/IR accounts and maintain accurate records.
• Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on AP-related queries.
• Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations to ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices.
• Support month-end closing and reconciliation processes.
• Lead process improvement initiatives within Procure-to-Pay operations.
• Identify inefficiencies and data-driven improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
• Maintain accurate process documentation and control evidence.
