Unique AI is seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team in a fast-paced start-up environment focused on secure, scalable AI for finance. The role combines detailed accounting with strategic reporting, consolidation, and treasury responsibilities across global subsidiaries.

A hands-on mindset and collaboration across functions are essential. Fluency in German and English is required; French or Italian is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years hands-on accounting or financial controlling experience in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or completed relevant commercial apprenticeship.
• Strong analytical capabilities with ability to translate data into insights.
• Proven entrepreneurial mindset with business-focused decision making and risk awareness.
• Collaborative team player with ability to communicate across levels and functions.
• Hands-on, 'roll-up-your-sleeves' attitude; willing to handle adjacent admin tasks.
• Fluent in German and English (French/Italian a plus).
• Experience in a Treuhandbüro is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Oversee expense management (credit cards, invoices, etc.).
• Prepare timely and accurate P&L reporting for the Swiss entity.
• Ensure data accuracy, cleanliness and clarity of numbers.
• Take ownership of reporting, planning, budgeting, and controlling within Finance.
• Support company consolidation activities and coordinate external partners for non-Swiss subsidiaries.
• Handle treasury management and ensure VAT, insurance, and local statutory compliance.
• Support People, Office, and cross-functional activities within Finance and Admin.

Job Requirements

• 3+ year experience: hands-on experience in accounting or financial controlling, ideally in a dynamic or growth-oriented environment
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or a completed relevant commercial apprenticeship
• Strong analytical capabilities: able to translate data into clear, accurate, and relevant insights
• Proven entrepreneurial mentality:strong business-oriented decision-making skills with a balanced approach to speed vs. risk with a bias towards impact
• Collaborative team player with demonstrated ability to build trust, communicate openly and effectively with stakeholders across levels and to collaborate across functions
• Hands-on approach:pragmatic and "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentality, handling adjacent tasks as needed (incl. operational & admin tasks)
• Languages:Fluent in written and spoken German & English (French and or Italian language skills are a plus)
• Experience in a "Treuhandbüro" (accounting company) is a plus

Job Responsibilities

Accounting Operations and Systems

• A/P invoices and A/R invoices in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Expense management (e.g., company credit cards, invoices etc.)

Financial Reporting, Planning and Controlling

• Prepare timely and accurate P&L reporting for the Swiss entity
• Ensure accuracy, cleanliness and clarity of data, numbers and figures
• Take ownership of reporting, planning, budgeting and controlling within the Finance team

Consolidation and Global Coordination

• Support company consolidation activities
• Coordinate external accounting partners for non-Swiss subsidiaries (incl. New York, London, Berlin and Singapore)

Treasury and Compliance

• Responsible for treasury management and associated tasks
• Ensure compliance with VAT, insurance requirements, local statutory obligations, etc.

People, Office, and Cross- Functional Support: administrative tasks for the Finance and People & Culture teams, as well as for general office management
