Job summary

ETEL, a global leader in high-performance motion control and mechatronic systems, offers a 6-month internship in an international, high-tech environment. You will work on AI assistants, developer productivity tools, and get hands-on with LLMs, Git workflows, and Azure/VS Code practices.

Under experienced guidance, you will contribute to AI assistant development, custom AI solutions, and integration of AI capabilities into engineering workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in a relevant field as listed in the profile.
• Strong programming skills in C#, C++, Python; Bash/PowerShell scripting familiarity.
• Experience with AI frameworks and vector search concepts.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and containerisation (Docker).
• Fluent English; French a plus.

Responsibilities

• AI Assistant Development – Maintain and enhance Comet 5 Assistant with new features and UX improvements.
• Custom AI Solutions – Develop AI-based tools using GETAI technologies.
• Developer Tools Engineering – Improve Kilo IDE and VS Code extensions for ETEL software.
• Integration & Automation – Embed AI into development workflows to boost productivity and quality.
• Testing & Quality Assurance – Implement automated tests and ensure reliability.
• Documentation & Collaboration – Create technical docs and work with teams to improve processes.
