Position Title

PhD position in theoretical and computational chemistry/biophysics in the group of Markus Meuwly in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Basel, Switzerland.

Responsibilities and Scope

The main theme of our research is the development and application of machine learning‑based energy functions (force fields) for atomistic biomolecular and chemical simulations to characterize and understand reaction mechanisms, the spectroscopy and the nuclear dynamics in molecular systems.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Programming skills required.
  • Interest and talent in machine learning‑based energy functions for biomolecular simulation.
