Job summary
A senior care facility in Edmonton is seeking a Part-Time Evening Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide personal and nursing care to residents. Responsibilities include performing assessments, supervising care staff, and ensuring residents' safety in adherence to care standards. Candidates must have a recognized nursing qualification, First Aid certification, and current licensure. This role involves working evening shifts as per a bi-weekly rotation.
Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized LPN program and one year’s relevant experience or equivalent.
- Certified in First Aid as per provincial legislation.
- Current full practicing licensure with the relevant governing body.
Responsibilities
- Perform assessments, plan and provide nursing care to residents.
- Supervise care staff to meet residents' needs.
- Administer medications in accordance with policies and procedures.
