At PwC, our tax services focus on providing advice and guidance on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. This role focuses on indirect tax including VAT, GST, sales tax, and other indirect taxes.

• Manage compliance and advisory services for Canadian indirect taxes (GST/HST, provincial sales taxes, excise taxes).
• Analyze complex indirect tax engagements, including M&A, domestic and cross‑border transactions, audit defense.
• Develop insights and recommendations to improve client compliance activities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop solutions and recommendations.
• Track global trends and impact on clients.
• Build trusted relationships and uphold ethics and conduct.
• Join a fast‑paced, strategic growth area of PwC Tax.
• This role does not support completion of the Canadian CPA designation.

• Commitment to valuing differences, coaching diverse teams, ensuring diverse perspectives are heard.
• Understanding of indirect tax legislation with ability to interpret and apply it.
• Experience in GST/HST and other sales tax legislation.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Able to handle multiple assignments in a deadline‑driven environment.
