Our client has an urgent need for a Senior Manager - SAP Finance Lead.
Start Date : ASAP
Duration : 6-12 months
Work location : Toronto
Work model and candidate location : work is hybrid.
Kindly note that seniority and strong experience in SAP within the financial services industry are key for this role.
- Lead and manage SAP projects within the financial services domain, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices and solutions tailored to the financial services industry.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for SAP solutions.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP project delivery, with a focus on financial services.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in leading large-scale SAP implementations and transformations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- SAP certification(s) is a plus.
- At minimum 6+ of experience working with SAP Finance modules as well as participation in full life cycle implementations (or equivalent experience) required.
- Familiarity with SAP Finance integration to Treasury and Group Reporting is preferred.
- Development of project documentation, training materials, requirements gathering and project management methodology experience required.
- Experience with SAP S / 4HANA, and statutory and regulatory Financial Services.
