A leading procurement services firm is seeking a Vendor Manager to oversee supplier relationships and drive strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in vendor management and strategic sourcing, particularly in the telecommunications industry. Role Overview
Strategic procurement professional responsible for managing vendor relationships and sourcing strategies across shared services categories, including facilities, field services, home services, supply operations, and mobile technologies. The role also supports Mergers & Acquisition initiatives, focusing on the consolidation of vendor contracts for newly acquired companies.
Must have skills:
1. Critical thinking
2. Vendor negotiations
3. Vendor term negotiation, including pricing and contractual terms.
Nice to have skills:
1. Google workspace familiarity
2. AI familiarity
3. Analytical skills for comparing multiple data resources.
4. Logistical thinking
5. Bilingual (although not necessary)
Project Details: The role will support Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities, specifically focusing on the consolidation of vendor contracts for one of our clients’ newly acquired companies. Responsibilities include reviewing vendor agreements from the acquired organization, comparing them with existing contracts, and identifying cost-saving opportunities and operational synergies. The selected candidate will also be responsible for amending, renewing, or closing contracts as needed to align with our client’s standards and strategic objectives.
