Strategic Production Planner: Lead Scheduling & CI
Job summary
A technology solutions provider in Toronto is seeking a skilled Production Planner to lead production planning activities and drive continuous improvements. The ideal candidate will manage complex production schedules, ensure on-time deliveries, and optimize material flow. A Bachelor's degree and prior experience in production planning are essential, along with expertise in ERP/MRP systems. The role includes strong accountability and communication across various teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in production planning or 8+ years in MRPII environment.
- Advanced experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Experience with engineering change processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead maintenance of Work Order date integrity.
- Collaborate with Production Supervisors to recover at-risk schedules.
- Drive and support Continuous Improvement initiatives.
