Join Golden Life Management as we expand our seniors housing, care, and services in western Canada. We are seeking a qualified, Casual Dietary Aide at Garden View Village in Kimberley, BC. If you're a strong team player, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities include:

• Working evenings and weekends
• Assisting in food preparation and assembly, including washing, peeling, and storing vegetables and fruits, preparing sandwiches and salads
• Preparing beverages and simple food items such as tea, coffee, and toast
• Loading, delivering, portioning, and serving food and beverages in dining areas or resident neighborhoods
• Stocking resident kitchens with snacks, beverages, and staples
• Setting up and cleaning dining tables before and after meals
• Operating dishwashing and dispensing machines, reporting equipment issues
• Performing cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and trash removal
• Maintaining effective communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• FoodSafe certification preferred
• Ability to lift up to 10kg
• Successful clearance of Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
• Physical capability to perform job duties
• Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
