The Job Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sewing machines equipped with specialized zipper feet.
• Install various types of zippers (invisible, exposed, molded plastic, metal) into garment openings.
• Ensure perfect alignment of zipper teeth and fabric edges so the garment lays flat and the zipper functions smoothly without catching.
• Sew close to the zipper coils without damaging the needle or the zipper mechanism.
• Verify that waistbands, collars, and horizontal seams match up perfectly across the closed zipper.
