Job summary

MainframeMaster in Canada is seeking a Sr z/OS Connect & IMS Systems Programmer to lead analysis, build, test and deployment of z/OS Connect, IMS and related products. You will maintain infrastructure on the z/OS platform and collaborate with Business Analysts, Engineers and Developers.

The role requires on-call support on a 7/24 rotating schedule with off-hours readiness; you will provide system support and integration expertise for IMS, DB2, CICS and WAS on z/OS.

Job description

We are seeking an z/OS Connect Systems Programmer to join our team providing system support of IBM's z/OS Connect and Information Management System (IMS) in the Mainframe & Database Services group.

Mainframe & Database Services group within Mainframe Delivery, Infrastructure and Engineering Team is responsible for Support, Design, Build, Test and Deploy of Mainframe database and transaction manager systems. We also provide consultation services with Architects, Business Analyst and application developers on application design and functions that is related to IMS, DB2, CICS, WAS z/OS, and z/OS Connect.
