Job summary

A community church in North Vancouver is looking for a dedicated Youth Pastor to lead their youth ministry. The role involves overseeing a weekly youth group, recruiting and training volunteers, planning events, and mentoring students. Responsibilities

• Provide a consistent weekly youth group program that includes engaging games, worship and preaching.
• Recruit and equip a team of volunteer leaders to run the various elements of the youth group.
• Plan large events as an opportunity for our youth to develop stronger friendships.
• Develop a mentorship program for leaders and students.
• Manage a budget, database and follow church policies.
• Plan and execute a yearly youth missions’ trip.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and collaborate on church vision.
• Participate in the planning of church-wide events.
• Assist in the Children’s Day Camp for one week each summer.
• Give a written report for Annual General Meeting.
