We are seeking a skilled and compassionate X-ray / Mammography Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing diagnostic imaging procedures, excellent patient care skills, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services.

Qualifications
  • Must be a registered member of CMRTO in good standing
  • Membership in CMRTO and OAMRT is required
  • Demonstrates the ability to work as a team player
  • Demonstrates the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques, imaging protocols, and radiation safety principles.
Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, to produce high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists and physicians.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining procedures and answering any questions to ensure their comfort and understanding.
  • Position patients correctly and shield them appropriately to protect them from unnecessary radiation exposure.
  • Operate radiographic equipment, adjusting controls and settings as needed to produce optimal images.
  • Process digital images and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with established protocols and patient confidentiality regulations.
