A professional minute-taking company is looking for detail-oriented Minute Takers in Toronto. This hybrid role involves attending local meetings twice a month while most meetings are virtual. Note: We are currently looking for Minute Takers who are open to travel and located in Toronto to attend meetings on-site at our customers\' locations roughly twice per month. The remaining meetings would be virtual. This is a hybrid role with an on-site requirement.
Our Minute Takers come from a variety of backgrounds: we work with corporate professionals, executive assistants, journalists, lawyers, writers, adventurers, retirees, stay-at-home parents, and incredible people from all walks of life and at every stage of their careers.
If you’re a good fit for this role, you’ll be a strong writer who’s concise and attentive to detail. Experience with executive summaries, conference reports, or minutes is a strong asset. Training is provided and mandatory.
At Minutes Solutions, flexibility comes first. We work with your availability and schedule in mind. On average, our Minute Takers participate in 1-2 meetings per week – there is no guarantee of full-time or permanent work. Most of our meetings take place during the week (M-F) and start between 4-8pm EST. Events that require travel typically take place during regular business hours (between 9am – 5pm).
Travel compensation: Meetings requiring travel will be compensated starting at $300, plus meals, local travel, airfare, and accommodation fully reimbursed. The longer the travel event, the higher the compensation. All payments are made in CAD via direct deposit.
Virtual meetings: Regular virtual meetings are compensated at $56 per one-hour meeting and $12 per every additional 30 minutes beyond one hour, rounded up. Rates increase for meetings exceeding four hours. Compensation is based on meeting duration and does not include time to format and finalize minutes after the meeting.
