Responsibilities
- Provide attentive nursing care to patients
- Assist in patient assessments, treatments, and procedures
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Offer comprehensive patient education and support
Skills
Proven experience in the wound care nursing field
Experience with electronic medical records
Knowledge of wound care best practices and advancements
Familiarity with wound care equipment and technologies
Ability to maintain and update patient records
Knowledge of medical terminology
Advanced knowledge of MS Suite (Word, Excel, Teams)
Experience in Alayacare Program
Experience in TELUS CHR EMR
French speaking
Education
Valid nursing license in good standing with CNO
Clear Vulnerable Sector Cheque
Valid CPR Certification
Wound Care Certification
Step 1 and 2 TB Testing valid within two years
NSWOC and SWAN Certification
