Qualifications
- Hold a valid nursing license in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body. Good standing with CNO.
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Cheque valid within the year.
- Valid CPR Certification valid within the year.
- Wound Care Certification is essential.
- Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excel in a collaborative and fast‑paced healthcare environment.
- A strong understanding of medical protocols and best practices.
- Step 1 and 2 TB Testing valid within two years.
- NSWOC and SWAN Certification.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide attentive nursing care to patients
- Assist in patient assessments, treatments, and procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring adherence to medical standards and protocols.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care.
- Offer comprehensive patient education and support for a positive healthcare experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Proven experience in the wound care nursing field.
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Knowledge of wound care best practices and the latest advancements in the field.
- Familiarity with wound care equipment and technologies
- Ability to maintain and update patient records.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Advanced knowledge of MS Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc) is an asset.
- Experience in Alayacare Program is an asset.
- Experience in TELUS CHR EMR is an asset.
- French speaking is an asset.
