Job summary

Kainos in Canada is seeking a Principal Workday Financials Solution Architect to provide technical and functional leadership across complex Workday Financials programmes, partnering with CFOs and senior stakeholders. You will shape delivery strategies, ensure scalable designs, and drive value across client engagements.

You will design and lead architecture for enterprise Workday Financials deployments, mentor delivery teams, and contribute to pre-sales activities while advancing the Workday

Qualifications

• Current Workday Financials Certification.
• Previous consulting experience within a Workday Partner organisation.
• Extensive experience leading and architecting Workday Financials implementations.
• Deep expertise in Workday Financial Management and Foundation Data Model (FDM).
• Proven experience operating as a Solution Architect, Lead Architect or Principal Consultant on enterprise-scale Workday programmes.
• Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders and leading strategic client discussions.
• Strong understanding of finance transformation, operating models and shared services environments.
• Experience working across multiple phases of the implementation lifecycle, from discovery and design through deployment and post-go-live support.
• Experience supporting business development, solution estimation or pre-sales activities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Required Experience

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

• Current Workday Financials Certification.
• Previous consulting experience within a Workday Partner organisation.

Preferred Experience

• Certifications across additional Workday Financials products and modules.
• Experience with Procurement, Expenses, Revenue Management, Accounting Center and Reporting.
• Experience leading global or multi‑country Workday deployments.
