Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a senior WordPress Team Lead to guide end-to-end development for client projects. You will scope builds, mentor the team, and ensure high-quality, fast, and customized WordPress solutions.

You will also engage clients in technical conversations and align work with business objectives. You will drive efficiencies with AI, lead development best practices, and maintain healthy, scalable sites while writing and reviewing real code.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or owning WordPress builds end-to-end.
• Excellent client-facing communication and ability to tie technical work to business goals.
• Strong PHP, HTML/CSS/JS knowledge with modern development practices.
• Comfort using AI to drive development efficiencies.

About The Role

Blacksmith Agency builds high-performance custom websites for clients across the US. As WordPress Team Lead at Blacksmith, you lead custom WordPress work end to end. You are the face of development for your clients. You scope the build, understand the client's business objectives and tie the work back to them, drive efficiencies with AI, and lead builds that are fast, clean and custom. You still write and review real code.

This is a senior, client-facing lead for a strong developer who can also talk to clients. Excellent English required.
