Job summary

Staples Canada seeks a Wireless Sales Consultant to champion the customer experience in the wireless department. You’ll share knowledge, grow your wireless expertise, and engage with the store team to help customers achieve their work and learning goals through the latest products and services.

You will connect with customers, meet their needs, and promote additional value while maintaining merchandising standards and staying current with internal communications channels.

Qualifications

• 3 months to 1 year of wireless sales or sales experience.
• Customer focus and service orientation.
• Demonstrates strong selling ability and ability to coach others.
• Effective communication with clients via multiple channels.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers and identify wireless sales opportunities.
• Meet and exceed customer needs; become an expert on products and services.
• Promote additional products and services that create value.
• Work with store team to raise awareness of offers and drive referrals.
• Achieve personal sales goals and maintain merchandising standards.
• Support asset protection procedures and privacy standards.
• Stay updated via internal channels and escalate issues when needed.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate to management when appropriate.

Specifically, You Will

• Connect, share, and partner with customers, identify and convert wireless and wireline sales opportunities
• Help customers by meeting and exceeding their needs. Be an expert with our product and services. Reconnect and follow up with customers to solicit feedback on sales; promote additional products and services that create value
• Partner with the store team overall to create awareness of offers. Build enthusiasm for wireless and encourage referrals
• Responsible for achieving personal sales goals
• Maintain company merchandising standards, including current pricing
• Support asset protection procedures and privacy standards
• Stay updated through the various internal communication channels (mobile app, intranet, bulletin boards, etc)
• Effectively resolves customer concerns and escalates to management when appropriate
