The Miller Group, a leader in Ontario road maintenance, is seeking Winter Patrollers to perform road maintenance on provincial highways, respond to emergencies during inclement weather, and assist in implementing emergency plans as required. In this role you will maintain documentation, inspect and service equipment, and support snow and ice control decisions with timely reporting.

Qualifications

• G license with clean driving abstract & CVOR.
• Experience in snow and ice control and knowledge of OTM Book 7.
• Knowledge of highway maintenance.
• Willingness to work in extreme weather conditions.
• Ability to work shifts and extended hours (evenings, weekends, nights, holidays).
• Ability to perform manual labour and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilités

• Perform road maintenance on provincial highways during winter.
• Respond to emergencies such as spills and accidents in inclement weather.
• Assist in implementing an emergency plan and provide traffic control as required.
• Maintain documentation (fuel reports, safety reports, hours of service) and inspect equipment.
