Job summary

Ledcor is seeking team-oriented individuals for winter road maintenance across Ontario. If you hold a DZ or AZ license, you will operate snowplows and heavy equipment, help maintain Ontario highways year-round, and work in all weather conditions.

Shifts are 8–12 hours with 5/6 consecutive days on followed by days off; winter season runs Oct 1 to Apr 30. Camp accommodations and meal allowance are available in multiple towns. This CLAC union position offers premiums and competitive wages.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50 lbs.
• Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with air endorsement
• Provide a copy of a 3-year commercial driver’s abstract
• Previous experience operating snow plow trucks or wheel loaders is an asset

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplows, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment
• Maintain Ontario Provincial Highways year-round
• Work outside in all weather conditions
