Winter Casual Operator, Highway Maintenance. Ledcor Highways Ltd. (LHL) is offering road maintenance opportunities across Ontario, providing year‑round employment with long‑term contracts. We are seeking enthusiastic, team‑oriented individuals to help keep the Ontario highways safe. Rates & Premiums

• Base hourly rate: $25.00/hour
• Premiums starting at $5/hour when performing winter maintenance operations

Work Conditions

• Must be located within 30 minutes of the shop due to the location of the work
• On-call including night shift may be required as weather patterns necessitate
• This is an on-call, weather dependent position with no guaranteed hours in a week
• CLAC union position

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required
• Maintain Ontario Provincial Highways year-round, including assisting with Labourer duties (pothole repair, guardrail repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, etc.)
• Work outside in all weather conditions

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, bending, kneeling, crouching, etc.
• Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with air endorsement
• Provide a copy of a 3-year commercial driver’s abstract
• Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset
