Winter 2026 Sessional Instructional Assistant Positions

The following positions are available for the Winter 2026 (S) term on the campus of the University of Toronto Mississauga.

Courses and Appointment Dates
  • **CCT206H5S Law, Technology and Culture** – January 1 to April 30, 2026 (3 tutorials per week; 71 hours total, 3 positions).
  • **CCT250H5S Foundations of Digital Design and Production** – January 1 to April 30, 2026 (1 tutorial on Tuesdays; 65 hours total, 1 position).
  • **CCT404H5S Remote Work, Technology and Collaboration** – January 1 to April 30, 2026 (1 tutorial on Mondays; 41 hours total, 1 position).
Qualifications (unless specified)
  • Completed formal education or experience specific to the subject area.
  • Familiarity with Quercus.
  • Demonstrated teaching excellence and advanced technological skills.
  • For marking positions, must work well under time constraints and meet deadlines.
  • Additional requirements per course (e.g., graduate law degree, technology‑law expertise, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator proficiency).
Responsibilities (unless specified)

Conduct in‑person tutorials and maintain scheduled office hours, student e‑mail contact, grading, invigilating, and clerical duties. Practical invigilation is required. Instruction mode is in‑person.

Rate and Agreement

The rate of pay for a Sessional Instructional Assistant (SIA) is $54.27 per hour in accordance with CUPE 3902, Unit 3 Collective Agreement.
