Barley, Malt & Vine Co. Ltd. is seeking a friendly cashier for its on-site liquor and wine shop in Canada. No prior experience required; training will be provided to help you learn our merchandise, checkout systems, and customer service standards.

The role focuses on accurate cash handling, assisting customers, maintaining displays, and contributing to a fast-paced, detail-oriented store environment. Availability for varied shifts is a plus.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsabilités

• Accept cash, cheque, credit card or debit payments.
• Operate cash register.
• Operate computerized inventory records and re-ordering systems.
• Provide advice about merchandise and customer service.
• Assist in display of merchandise.
• Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based commerce.
• Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise sought for purchase.
