Job summary

ENERCON seeks a Wind Turbine Technician to support on-site operation and maintenance of wind turbines. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe, reliable turbine performance at the Windsor site, with travel to support regional service teams.

The role requires a technical degree or certification, experience in electrical/mechanical maintenance, and readiness for overtime and travel. Training and growth opportunities are offered by ENERCON.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification in electromechanics, electricity, or wind turbine maintenance.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
• Journeyman electrician Red Seal is a valuable asset.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness for overtime, weekend on-call, and occasional travel.
• Willingness to travel for multi-day maintenance at other sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on wind turbine systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair for optimal performance.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and implement repairs.
• Collaborate on preventive maintenance schedules.
• Use diagnostic tools for issue resolution.
• Document work and materials digitally.
• Follow safety protocols at all times.
• Contribute to health and safety program improvements.
• Attend ENERCON training sessions.
• Inspect ENERCON vehicles before use.
• Travel to assist wind parks regionally or nationally.
• Perform daily tasks in compliance with ENERCON standards.
