Job summary

Kingsclear-Municipal Limited Partnership (KMLP), part of the Municipal Group of Companies, seeks qualified Concrete Finishers to support renewable energy construction in the Juniper (Fredericton) NB Area. The role involves placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete on site.

Under the Foreman's direction, you will key in surface finishing, jointing, and curing, with emphasis on safety and teamwork in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow a firm work schedule as directed by supervisor.
• Familiarity with construction site protocols, rules and code of conduct.
• Ability to perform manual tasks requiring independent judgment.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and responsibly.
• Commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Strong communication with coworkers and supervisors to ensure proper project completion.

Responsibilities

• Operate a screed to level freshly placed concrete according to grade and depth specifications.
• Ensure a smooth surface using hand trowel or floats.
• Cut joints/grooves to control cracking.
• Prepare and repair concrete using drills and saws for reinforcing rods.
• Apply curing components to surfaces.
• Monitor wind and temperature for proper curing.
• Maintain safety on site and protect company interests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
